Rumours about the new single
The last days there's been rumour about the new single. It was said that, though Here Standing was almost confirmed as the new single, the discography would have changed its mind, deciding that the song that would be released as the next single after Ego would be One Shot instead. However, there's a new rumour now saying the new single will be Deeper and the date of release of it will be next 12th April.

We want to make clear all these are just rumour, and maybe none of this song will finally be the new single or maybe there will not be a third single after all. We'de like to remind you The Saturdays are recording new material these days, so maybe they will no be promoting Wordshaker anymore 'cos they want to focus on the new album. Or maybe they're going to release a reissue of Wordshaker with new songs, and one of them could make the third single. Anyway, when something is officially confirmed, we'll let you know, but we wanted to tell you all of this because it's something that has been talked about for some time ago.

The Saturdays at The Big Red Day Out
"Girl band The Saturdays and Manchester United are to team up for a summer charity fundraiser, it was announced today.

The pop princesses, whose hits include Issues, Up and Work, will kick off a pre-match concert at Old Trafford on May 1 to raise money for Sport Relief and the Manchester United Foundation.

Titled The Big Red Day Out, the music will warm up the crowd before a star studded football match between a Manchester United XI and "The Rivals", featuring a mixture of Manchester United legends and celebrity fans.

Players will include Gavin and Stacey star James Corden, DJ George Lamb, Paddy McGuinness, Tim Lovejoy, Matt Dawson and Jason Manford.

Lamb said: "It's going to be a great day, United Relief Live is about having fun with family and friends as well as raising money for people who have unimaginably tough lives. Peter Crouch is kindly lending me a pair of boots, so it's game on."

Tickets are priced from £15 for adults, £5 for children and are on sale now at http://www.sportrelief.com or http://www.manutd.com or by calling 0161 868 8000".

Frankie on "The Door"
DigitalSpy confirms Frankie will be appearing on "The Door", the new ITV1 show:

"Amanda Holden and Chris Tarrant have been confirmed as the hosts of two-part ITV1 gameshow The Door.

EastEnders stars Dean Gaffney and Louisa Lytton, Coronation Street's Jennie McAlpline, Boyzone's Keith Duffy, GMTV presenter Michael Underwood and Saturdays star Frankie Sandford will compete in the programme, which has been billed as the "ultimate celebrity endeavour contest".

Each contestant will venture through 'the door' and undertake challenges, which force them to face their fears. The celebrities will "battle claustrophobic spaces, suffer shocks and have to cope with a relentless barrage of disorientating games" as they compete for charity.

"The Door is a celebrity's worst nightmare! It's going to make great viewing," said Holden.

After the first show, three celebrities will enter the final, while the three losers will face a last ordeal. One of the losing three can earn a place in the second show during the final task.

The Door will air on ITV1 in late spring".

The Saturdays and Taio Cruz
As we have been commenting in our forum since some time ago, The Saturdays are recording new songs these days in the studio. And now we've know they've been working with Taio Cruz. However, we still don't know what are they recording these songs for, so it could be for album 3 or a reedition of Wordshaker.
