Una Healy - Biography

Una Healy (born 10 October 1981, Thurles, Tipperary, Republic of Ireland), is a singer and actress, best known as one of the five members of the girlband The Saturdays.

Una began her career as a singer in a rock band, and later wrote and recorded her own album, which showed in bars and clubs of his native Ireland. She is a sensible and determined girl who seems to be the sensitive member of the group, but occasionally will surprise you with his wicked sense of humor. She's quiet and a bit homely, loves to relax and watch movies. Is an amazing guitarist, enjoys burning the stress going to the gym and always enjoys a good cup of tea. Not bear negative people and does not understand why people have the need to talk bad behind others.

Before becoming a Saturdays, she appeared as a backup singer for Eurovision singer Brian Kennedy in 2006. She has also written her own album and won the Glinska Song Contest in Ireland in 2004 and 2006.

Healy appeared in a series of episodes in the series Hollyoaks Later, along with Frankie Sandford, Mollie King, Rochelle Wiseman, Vanessa White, who also are part of The Saturdays. She and the other girls also appeared in the Myths series: The sirens of the BBC, Una played the role of Peisone.

Healy won (last year) the category "Hottest Female" in The Virgin Media Music Awards 2008, surpassing Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Cheryl Cole and Christina Aguilera. She has also been admired by many for her good looks. Participant number 9 of Big Brother, Stuart Pilkington, said he would like to kiss Healy under the mistletoe.

Una is currently the girlfriend of the England rugby star Ben Foden.
